Dr. Patel and her staff are amazing. My daughter had her very first tooth extraction recently they were very caring with her. We appreciate Dr. Patel for checking on her if she's doing well at home after the procedure. Great experience

My 5 y old son got abscess on his razor tooth. He got tooth removal and by far it was the best experience in town. The clinic has service which made procedure easy and safe for my son. Attentive caring team and welcoming atmosphere.

I can't say enough good things about The Dentists @ Thickwood! Our experience was amazing from start to finish.
We were in a difficult situation with our insurance and were running out of time, but the team went above and beyond to help us. They took the time to understand our circumstances, submitted everything to our insurance promptly, and made the whole process so much less stressful.
A special thank you to Dr. Patel for her exceptional care. She is kind, patient, and truly takes the time to give each patient her full attention. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and wants the best for them.
Also, a huge thank you to Armie at the front desk. She was incredibly helpful, explained our insurance coverage clearly, answered all of our questions, and gave us reassurance throughout the entire process.
The level of compassion, professionalism, and customer service we received was outstanding. I highly recommend The Dentists @ Thickwood to anyone looking for a dental clinic that truly cares about its patients. Thank you to the entire team!

I have always read about Dr. Patel in the social media, everything was positive about her and I have proven that everything I read was true because she did not hesitate to help my dad with his dentures. I was worried because they don’t have dental insurance because they only had a visitor visa, but Dr. Patel was so accommodating and kind, she helped us without hesitation and I also see how she treated her patients while we were waiting for our appointment. same goes for Armie, who has never faded no matter where she works, she still brings the true meaning of an employee with a heart and care for the patient same with Dale very sweet and knowledgeable.

Dr Rita has been nothing but exceptional. I texted her emergency line at 4 am and she called me back as soon as she could. My 13 month old had an accident and knocked out 2 teeth while camping. We went to the nearest small town emerg and drove back the next day to fort mac. She kept in contact with us on the long drive back, i sent her pictures she told me it was fine to wait till Monday that it was no longer emergent but if i wanted to she would come in on sunday on her day off to check my baby. I waited till Monday and the entire staff was so polite, patient and professional. Dr Rita is a mother too and understands the fear im going through and has been so supportive and compassionate through this trauma. I sent her pictures 2 days after the appointment with some concerns on the emergency line and she answered me right away again. The only unfortunate thing is they dont deal with sunlife insurance. But so far we love her and will keep seeing her for routine check ups even though not insured. If we were to need extensive work with a big bill we would unfortunately have to go somewhere that our insurance would cover. I wish we didnt have to do that. I have nothing but nice things to say about this dentist. We appreciate her very much. That said, no other emergency line or kid friendly dentist in fort Mcmurray and surrounding areas answered any of my phone calls or emails or voicemail and has still since never called me back. With Dr. Rita I feel alot more secure if god forbid an another accident happens. So Grateful to have her here in Fort Mac.

Had a wonderful experience at this dental office yesterday! I came in for sore gums and the receptionist got me in day of and was so sweet. The dentist, her assistant, and the hygienist were all so kind, personable, and had such great advice for me. I definitely recommend this spot! 🥰

I found this clinic for an emergency (weekend) and Dr. Patel was great. Needed appointment for another treatment and they did a good job again. They make you as comfortable as possible and check if you need a break. Really glad I found a dentist I can trust.

AMAZING experience. First of all the secretary, Armie was so friendly and accommodating to my schedule and needs. She made sure that I was comfortable in the waiting room and then followed up after my dental work to make sure I was happy with everything. I would say the same about Dr. Kaur. She made sure I was comfortable and happy with how things felt and looked the entire time. She was so gentle and reassuring. The dental assistant was also very friendly and kind. Even though visiting the dentist is not my favourite place to be, this team made my experience very positive and stress free.

Very pleasant experience, the employees were very helpfully and knowledgeable when i asked questions. They were soft spoken and made you feel very comfortable when a dentist visit can be stressful. I don’t even know where to start… I’ve struggled with really bad anxiety around going to the dentist for as long as I can remember, and it’s something that’s honestly held me back a lot. Walking into this appointment, I was scared, overwhelmed, and expecting the worst. But this team completely changed that for me. From the moment I walked in, I was met with nothing but kindness, patience, and genuine care. They didn’t make me feel rushed or judged they made me feel understood. Every step of the way, they checked in on me, reassured me, and made sure I felt safe. I can’t even explain how much that meant in that moment. For the first time, I felt like I could actually breathe in a dental chair. It’s rare to come across people who are not only amazing at what they do, but who also lead with so much compassion and empathy. This experience meant more to me than just a visit it honestly helped heal a fear I’ve carried for years. I’m beyond grateful for the way I was treated here. Awesome dental place everyone is especially nice and everyone is very gentle. I would like to make a special shout out too Lynn as she made a bunch of recommendations for me as I have been struggling with gingivitis’s. She also found old cement from braces that no one has ever bothered to remove, she tried to take of a broken wire behind my teeth. She really went above and beyond.

I had a really great experience with my recent dental cleaning. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable right from the start. The hygienist was gentle but thorough, explaining everything clearly and checking in to make sure I was okay throughout the process.
